Revenue Cycle Financial Representative

Job Summary

Supporting the Centralized Estimate agent lines, the full-time Revenue Cycle Financial Representative will manage incoming patient calls, verify patient information, create and review pre-service estimates, and facilitate pre-payment collections in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures and verifies key patient information for accuracy to support billing and insurance processing
• Actively participates in departmental quality initiatives to reduce errors and make necessary corrections
• Provides patients with pre-service benefit education and explains estimate costs while securing payment expectations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities or call center customer service
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
