Job Summary

To ensure appropriate reimbursement for professional services, the full-time Revenue Cycle Insurance Specialist will manage claims submissions, patient registrations, and insurance verifications while working remotely from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Hampshire, or Tennessee.

Key responsibilities

• Triage invoices and execute processes to obtain reimbursement for various professional services, ensuring timely claims submissions and appeals
• Research and resolve inquiries from internal departments and payors regarding billing rules, payment variances, and insurance denials
• Maintain accurate patient registration information and verify insurance coverage using automated billing systems and online tools

Required qualifications

• 3 years of healthcare experience in medical billing preferred
• Experience with the EPIC system preferred
• Familiarity with online payor tools preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Certification in Medical Terminology preferred
