Revenue Cycle Management Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Management Specialist, this full-time remote position will manage claims and denials, execute appeals, and perform administrative billing tasks to ensure a high-performing billing operation in a fast-growing genomics company.

Key responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day claim and denials management, working claims through resolution in RCM systems and payor portals
• Investigate and resolve rejections and denials, identifying root causes and collaborating with internal teams to prevent recurrence
• Draft, submit, and track appeals for both commercial and government payors, ensuring strong documentation and follow-through

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of revenue cycle, billing, or claims experience in a laboratory, diagnostic, or genetic testing environment
• Hands-on experience with Xifin or other lab RCM systems and clearinghouses
• Demonstrated experience working claims for out-of-network providers with commercial payors
• Working knowledge of denial categories including prior authorization, medical necessity, and timely filing
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, and modern RCM/billing tools
