Revenue Cycle Management Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Revenue Cycle Management Specialist will manage billing services, ensure accuracy in medical claims, and analyze data trends while effectively communicating with colleagues and stakeholders across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims, ensuring accurate coding and up-to-date patient information
• Post payments, review Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) for accuracy, and report trends in denied claims to management
• Analyze billing issues, provide explanations of insurance claims, and manage work queues to ensure timely follow-up on accounts

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in medical billing or a similar role
• Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records (EMR), with experience in Athena preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Associate degree or high school diploma
