Revenue Cycle Manager

Job Summary

Managing all operational functions associated with daily Revenue Cycle Management, the full-time Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee billing and follow-up activities for third-party payers in a high-volume multihospital health system while working remotely from specified states.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily operations of Revenue Cycle Management, ensuring compliance with federal and state payer guidelines
• Lead, develop, and mentor staff to meet performance metrics and uphold operational policies and ethical standards
• Manage billing processes and conduct investigations into patient complaints regarding third-party billing and collections

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field, or 15 years of direct management experience in hospital receivables
• A minimum of seven years of experience in financial and hospital receivables management within a medical center or health system
• A minimum of four years of direct management experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH regulations, as well as healthcare billing and reimbursement concepts
• Familiarity with standard billing documents and third-party billing processes
