Job Summary

Managing the billing and follow-up activities for third-party payers, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee operational functions of Patient Financial Services within a multi-hospital health system, ensuring compliance with federal and state payer guidelines while leading and mentoring staff to meet performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily operations of Patient Financial Services, focusing on high-volume billing activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with facilities to understand their computer environments and payer contracts
• Lead, develop, and mentor staff to achieve expected performance metrics in receivables management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field, or 15 years of direct management experience in hospital receivables
• A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in financial and hospital receivables management
• At least four years of direct management experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience in central business office functions
• Familiarity with team building and quality management concepts to enhance the work environment
