Revenue Cycle Representative

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Representative will manage insurance claims submissions, follow up on denials, and ensure accurate posting of payments while maintaining acceptable aging levels for accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and follow up on insurance claims, addressing denials and re-bills as necessary
• Analyze patient invoices and accounts for clean claim submissions, resolving discrepancies and posting payments accurately
• Reconcile accounts and respond to correspondence, identifying trends and providing suggestions for resolution to management

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (e.g., Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
