Revenue Cycle Representative

Job Summary

To support the Jefferson Revenue Cycle Enterprise, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Representative will handle payment reconciliation, investigate payment issues, and collaborate with Payment Representatives and Finance to ensure accurate cash processing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve payment issues through research and investigation, ensuring proper application of payments
• Utilize online payor portals for claims determination and communicate with third-party payors as needed
• Ensure timely and accurate posting, reconciliation, and closing of payment batches while adhering to quality assurance standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and strong skills in MS Excel and Access
• Knowledge of accounting ledgers and balance sheets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with web tools and technology
