Revenue Cycle Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Cycle Representative will manage the accurate and timely submission of insurance claims, follow up on denials, and ensure proper posting of payments while maintaining acceptable accounts receivable aging levels.

Key responsibilities

• Submit claims and respond to denials, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines
• Perform follow-up and collections on insurance claims, resolving discrepancies with internal and external departments
• Analyze and correct patient invoices or accounts to facilitate clean claim submissions and maintain work queues

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
