Revenue Cycle Representative

Job Summary

To support patient accounting operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Representative will manage the submission and follow-up of insurance claims, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accounts receivable while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims, responses to denials, and re-bills of insurance claims
• Interface with internal and external departments to resolve discrepancies through various methods, including charge corrections and refunds
• Contact insurance carriers for authorizations and gather information from medical records to substantiate claims

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities such as billing or collections
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
