Job Summary

Providing foundational support in the Compromised Settlements Unit, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist 1 - Legal Billing will manage patient accounts, assist with subpoenas and statutory attorney requests, and ensure compliance with billing regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist law firms and internal departments with Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and billing dispute cases, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations
• Process subpoenas and statutory attorney requests under supervision, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate billing documentation
• Manage Epic Workqueues for assigned accounts, assisting with workflow procedures and documentation under guidance

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Applicable certification requirements as per department description
• Ability to learn new procedures and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in using office software and relevant computer applications
