Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the financial integrity of billing operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage claims processing, resolve billing issues, and ensure accurate reimbursement in a remote or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Process claims in compliance with federal, commercial, and managed care guidelines
• Research and resolve account issues, including reimbursement discrepancies and denied claims
• Verify insurance coverage and manage credit balances and refunds

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree may substitute for work experience
• Minimum of six months of healthcare billing, collections, or revenue cycle experience, or one year in a finance-related business environment
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding preferred
• Familiarity with federal, commercial, and managed care billing regulations
• Experience with Epic system preferred
