Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist for a 13-week 1099 contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform eligibility and benefits verification, data and charge entry
• Research and resolve billing claim edits, denials, and underpayments
• Manage patient accounts, including payment collection and correspondence resolution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a medical billing office setting
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPC, and Modifier codes
• In-depth knowledge of insurance billing guidelines and industry best practices
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Athena software strongly desired
