Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist (Insurance Billing) who must reside in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Iowa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage credit and collections activities for client accounts and maintain the integrity of the accounts receivable ledger
• Document adjustments needed to client accounts and pursue collection activities for outstanding balances
• Provide feedback and education to internal departments regarding issues impacting revenue flow

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• One to two years of experience in healthcare claims processing and collections, or equivalent education and experience
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, particularly in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of revenue components including benefit plans, contract terms, and billing forms and codes
