Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist who will support insurance revenue cycle activities and cash goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in insurance billing and revenue cycle management
• Perform various revenue cycle management functions including eligibility verification, claim submission, and collections
• Identify and resolve issues affecting revenue reimbursement and communicate findings to management

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance eligibility verification and claims processing in a healthcare setting
• Understanding of NPI, taxonomy, and electronic claim submission requirements
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPC, and ICD10 codes, as well as HIPAA regulations
• Preferred experience with billing system implementation/configuration and 270/271 X12 files
• In-depth understanding of insurance A/R and ability to interpret ERA/EOB/EOPs
