Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist responsible for accurately posting and reconciling third-party payer and patient payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately apply and reconcile internal and external payments and denials, processing various payment types in accordance with guidelines
• Research and resolve undistributed and unapplied payments within assigned Epic HB Resolute work queues
• Prepare and maintain documentation of cash activity while ensuring accurate balancing across all facilities and accounts

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate required; some college-level coursework in business, finance, or accounting preferred
• Three (3) years of general clerical experience preferred, including bookkeeping and data entry skills
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital business setting involving finance or accounting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
• Above-average math skills with proficiency in keyboarding and calculator use
