Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare network, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage patient billing episodes, resolve prior authorization issues, and ensure timely claims submission while collaborating with clinics and insurance carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Update patient billing episodes and manage account credits as necessary
• Review and resolve prior authorization issues, verifying requirements with insurance carriers
• Ensure timely billing of patient claims and monitor claims rejection lists for corrections and resubmissions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical coursework preferred
• 2+ years of healthcare billing or accounts receivable experience
• Experience with healthcare payor claims follow-up and appeals
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
