Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Cycle Specialist will process, review, and file insurance claims while assisting patients with billing inquiries and collections.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform various functions in processing insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Collect and enter patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System and verify submitted claims
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims and respond to patient requests

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up experience
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Skilled in using computer programs and applications
