Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the processing, reviewing, and filing of insurance claims while assisting patients with billing inquiries and collecting patient balances.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform various functions in processing insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Collect and enter patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System, and review, verify, and submit insurance claims
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims and respond to patient requests regarding billing issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up experience
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficient in using computer programs and applications
