Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support efficient healthcare operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the accurate submission of insurance claims, follow up on denials, and ensure timely payment posting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and follow up on insurance claims, addressing denials and re-bills as necessary
• Research and resolve issues related to payments, insurance denials, and credit balances
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and participate in ongoing training to enhance job knowledge

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities
• Knowledge of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
• Experience with claims submission and follow-up processes
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
