Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the accurate and timely submission of insurance claims, follow up on denials, and ensure proper posting of payments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and manage insurance claims, respond to denials, and perform re-bills as necessary
• Conduct thorough follow-up on outstanding claims and resolve discrepancies with internal and external departments
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and respond to correspondence in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities, including billing and collections
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
• Experience with claims adjudication and posting payments
• Ability to analyze and correct patient invoices or accounts for clean claim submissions
