Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a healthcare organization, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the accurate submission of insurance claims, follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and ensure compliance with billing guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Submit claims and respond to denials while managing all aspects of insurance follow-up and collections
• Research and resolve issues related to payment postings, insurance denials, and patient accounts
• Maintain work queues and document collection activities thoroughly and accurately

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
