Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Operations Services Team, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will reconcile patient care records and billing information while working remotely within the Eastern or Central time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile ambulance trips in the billing system to ensure complete and thorough patient care records
• Monitor and actively manage tasks for assigned Operations areas, addressing returns from billing as needed
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including Operations and clients

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; EMT certification or medical experience preferred
• Experience working with computer programs and the general public preferred
• General knowledge of medical and insurance industry terminology preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other critical regulations required within one month of hire
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office software and clear communication in English, both verbally and in writing
