Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the timely submission of insurance claims, follow up on denials, and ensure accurate posting of payments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and follow up on insurance claims, addressing denials and re-bills as needed
• Analyze patient invoices and accounts for clean claim submissions, resolving discrepancies through various methods
• Reconcile accounts and respond to correspondence, identifying trends and suggesting resolutions to management

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities, including authorization, billing, follow-up, or collections
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
