Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Managing client business accounts, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will be responsible for the collection of outstanding balances from commercial insurance and self-pay payers while continuously improving revenue cycle processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee credit and collections activities for client accounts and maintain the integrity of the accounts receivable ledger
• Document adjustments needed to client accounts and pursue collection activities for outstanding balances
• Provide feedback and education to internal departments regarding issues that impact revenue flow and assist in fiscal management through documentation and reports

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• One to two years of experience in healthcare claims processing and collections, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Proficiency in a Windows environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Adequate written skills for accurate documentation within prescribed time frames
• Excellent organizational skills
