Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will ensure accurate insurance information for claim submissions, communicate with patients regarding billing concerns, and manage multiple computer systems to support billing processes in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure correct entry of insurance information for successful claim submission and payment
• Communicate with patients to clarify billing concerns and verify insurance information
• Resolve claims requiring pre-bill resolution and payment denials while overseeing billing-related inventories

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the industry required
• Cardiology or diagnostic imaging experience preferred, including knowledge of prior authorization processes
• Certified Professional Coder preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance products, claim processing, and EOB/ERA data
