Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a healthcare system, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage insurance claims submissions, follow up on denials, and reconcile accounts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims and manage follow-up on denials and re-bills
• Analyze patient invoices and accounts for clean claim submissions, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Reconcile accounts and respond to correspondence in a professional manner, identifying trends and suggesting resolutions

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (e.g., Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
