Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the processing, reviewing, and filing of insurance claims, assist patients with billing inquiries, and ensure timely resolution of claim payments.

Key responsibilities:

• Processes various insurance billing and collections functions, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Collects and enters patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System
• Follows up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims and resolves billing issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of revenue cycle experience in areas such as eligibility verification, billing, and AR follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficient in using computer programs and applications
