Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a temporary basis, the Revenue Cycle Specialist will process, review, and file insurance claims while assisting patients with billing inquiries and collections.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform various functions in processing insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Collect and enter patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System and review, verify, and submit insurance claims
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims and respond to patient requests

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of revenue cycle experience covering eligibility verification, billing, and AR follow-up
• Physician claim billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Skilled in using computer programs and applications
