Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage client accounts, oversee collections from commercial insurance and self-pay payers, and work remotely while ensuring compliance with billing processes and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee credit and collections activities for client accounts, maintaining the integrity of the accounts receivable ledger
• Monitor aged receivables and pursue collection activities, coordinating with outside agencies as necessary
• Document adjustments needed to client accounts and provide feedback to internal departments regarding revenue flow issues

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• One to two years of experience in healthcare claims processing and collections, or equivalent education and training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, in a Windows environment
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames
• Excellent organizational skills
