Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for processing, reviewing, and filing insurance claims, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will assist patients with billing inquiries and ensure timely claim payments while collaborating with team members on various accounts.

Key responsibilities:

• Process insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims, following established policies
• Collect and enter patient insurance information into the system, and review and submit insurance claims
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment and resolve billing issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficient in using computer programs and applications
