Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage insurance billing and collections, assist patients with billing inquiries, and ensure timely claim payments while handling multiple accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Process, review, and file insurance claims, including Medicaid/Medicare, according to established policies
• Collect and enter patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System and follow up with insurance companies
• Respond to patient requests and maintain supporting billing information for audits

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of revenue cycle experience, covering eligibility verification, billing, and AR follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficiency in computer programs and applications
