Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will process, review, and file insurance claims, assist patients with billing inquiries, and manage collections to ensure timely payment resolution.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform various functions in processing insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Collect and enter patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System and review, verify, and submit insurance claims
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment and maintain supporting billing information for audits

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of revenue cycle experience covering areas such as eligibility verification, billing, and AR follow-up
• Physician claim billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficient in using computer programs and applications
