Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will process, review, and file insurance claims while assisting patients with billing inquiries and collecting patient balances.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform insurance billing and collections functions, including Medicaid/Medicare claims processing
• Review, verify, and submit insurance claims while following up to ensure timely payments
• Assist patients with billing questions and maintain supporting billing information for audits

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of revenue cycle experience in areas such as eligibility verification and AR follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficiency in using computer programs and applications
