Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist II; Collections & Special Projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outstanding claim balances and patient accounts with complex issues across various payers
• Conduct root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid insurance claims and perform follow-ups
• Resolve issues related to patient benefits, including demographic discrepancies and insurance eligibility

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle with a focus on collections
• Ability to confidently communicate with payers, clinics, and patients via phone
• Experience in obtaining insurance authorizations and understanding coordination of benefits is preferred
