Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Cycle Specialist II will manage the submission and resolution of moderate to high complexity medical claims while ensuring compliance with billing requirements for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to management, staff, or physician requests in a timely manner while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Utilize multiple system applications to analyze account balances and follow up with insurance companies for claim resolution
• Document accounts clearly and participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and special projects

Required qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and claims management
• Knowledge of governmental and third-party billing regulations
• Ability to analyze complex claims issues and recommend improvements
• Familiarity with Protected Health Information (PHI) compliance requirements
• Proficiency in using multiple software applications for account management
