Revenue Cycle Supervisor, Maryland

Job Summary

Providing supervisory oversight in a hybrid role, the full-time Revenue Cycle Supervisor in Maryland will manage payment posting and adjustment transactions, lead a team through coaching and guidance, and assist with cash control and reconciliation processes across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees responsible for posting payments and adjustments, ensuring compliance with procedures
• Assist the Revenue Cycle Manager with cash control functions, including payment processing and reconciliation
• Establish relationships across facilities and ensure familiarity with each institution's computer environment and payer contracts

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field, or 4 years of leadership experience in hospital receivables; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of four years of healthcare and hospital receivable experience in a large academic medical center or health system
• Two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Knowledge of banking and cash posting procedures, as well as third-party billing and collection processes
• Familiarity with Maryland reimbursement environment and medical terminology
