Revenue Integrity AR Specialist
Job Summary
Analyzing payer payment variances, the full-time Revenue Integrity AR Specialist will identify and resolve contract discrepancies, submit appeals, and communicate with insurance companies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and resolve contract variances and collaborate with internal departments and payers
- Submit project and underpayment appeals, ensuring accurate documentation of patient accounts
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of outstanding appeals and follow up as needed
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; college education preferred
- At least three years of experience in medical billing and resolving Accounts Receivable issues
- Experience with offshore engagement and collaboration is desired
- Knowledge of benefit insurance billing and contract management
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel (including pivot tables), and database software
