Revenue Integrity Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity Coding and Billing Specialist, responsible for revenue cycle support services in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve assigned claims with Revenue Integrity pre-bill edits and specific denial codes
• Review clinical documentation to confirm and apply appropriate coding
• Ensure compliance with Federal/State guidelines and maintain knowledge of billing requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (relevant experience may substitute formal education)
• 3+ years of prior Revenue Integrity experience
• AAPC or AHIMA coding certification
• Experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing compliance guidelines
