Revenue Integrity DRG Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity DRG Auditor who has a comprehensive understanding of hospital Revenue Cycle Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain assigned client financial performance goals
• Validate code and DRG assignment and supporting clinical documentation based on physician documentation and official coding guidelines
• Assist in prediction enhancements to increase verification rates

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3+ years of inpatient auditing/coding experience with ICD and CPT/HCPCS
• In-depth knowledge of coding hospital inpatient record types and payer reimbursement methodology
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computerized programs
• CCS, CPC, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP, CCDS, or other coding/clinical certifications preferred
• Experience in MS-DRG validation and clinical validation is preferred
