Revenue Integrity Specialist (CPC/COC Certified)

Job Summary

To support revenue integrity efforts, the full-time Revenue Integrity Specialist (CPC/COC Certified) will review charge tickets against clinical documentation, validate charges, and reconcile discrepancies in a remote environment, adhering to established guidelines and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and validate charge tickets and electronic feeds for accuracy and compliance with capture guidelines
• Maintain documentation trails and draft exception notes for external auditor review
• Reconcile daily charge files with scheduled encounters and investigate variances within turnaround times

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in US revenue integrity, charge capture, or charge audit within a healthcare environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with strong revenue cycle management (RCM) background
• Proficiency in at least one major EHR platform (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, or Athena)
• Active AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P) certification, or HFMA CRCR certification with relevant charge capture experience
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and basic formulas
