Revenue Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist in Revenue Management (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding patient and insurance credit accounts, ensuring accurate claims filing and updates
• Process refunds or credit reversals in accordance with departmental policies and manage government monthly credit reporting
• Analyze Accounts Receivables reports for revenue integrity and collaborate with other departments on revenue-related issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 4 years of experience in medical office or billing settings, including collections or coding
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of insurance EOBs and remittance codes
• In-depth knowledge of payer billing and eligibility requirements is preferred
