Revenue Management Specialist

Job Summary

Managing accounts receivable functions, the full-time Revenue Management Specialist will ensure accurate billing and collections, process refunds, and resolve outstanding patient and insurance accounts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding patient and insurance credit accounts, ensuring claims are filed correctly
• Process refunds and credit reversals in accordance with departmental policies
• Analyze Accounts Receivables reports to maintain revenue integrity and identify trends

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in a medical office or billing setting, including collections or coding
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of insurance EOBs and remittance codes
• Ability to interact effectively with multiple departments and levels of management
