Job Summary
Owning the monthly revenue close in a remote capacity, the full-time Revenue Manager will manage subscription, consumption-based, and hybrid billing models while partnering with Rev Ops, Deal Desk, and Legal to ensure accurate revenue recognition and process improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly revenue close, including journal entries and deferred revenue reconciliation
- Maintain deferred revenue documentation and flag revenue recognition implications on new contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deal reviews and prepare audit-ready workpapers for revenue transactions
Required qualifications
- 5-7 years of revenue accounting experience with ownership of a month-end close
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 concepts and experience with subscription and consumption-based models
- Experience working with Legal, Rev Ops, and Deal Desk on contract and deal reviews
- Proven ability to tighten or build revenue processes in a growing environment
- Familiarity with Metronome, Stripe Billing, or NetSuite is a plus
