Revenue Recognition Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Revenue Recognition Technical Accountant to perform various management and accounting duties related to revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities

• Review complex contracts and manage revenue recognition processes
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely contract sign-offs
• Prepare technical revenue accounting memoranda and assist with month-end close activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• CPA or progress towards CPA required
• Minimum of 1 year revenue accounting experience, preferably in software/SaaS
• Deep understanding of ASC606 required
• Public accounting experience required; mix of public and private preferred
