Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Recovery Specialist to ensure accurate reimbursement and recover lost revenue for outpatient service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review claims data to identify discrepancies and research claims variances
• Communicate with payer representatives and draft appeals for underpaid claims
• Identify trends in workflow and prepare monthly recovery reporting

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle accounts receivable follow-up, managed care contracting analysis, or insurance company claims
• Strong understanding of outpatient reimbursement methodologies
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and large dataset analysis
• Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate findings effectively
