Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Recovery Specialist I-Patient Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate claims payment against payer contract terms to ensure compliance
• Identify payer specific trends and report significant issues to higher-level specialists
• Maintain knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and assist with related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in medical claims processing, insurance billing, or collections
• Knowledge of Third Party Reimbursement and Contracts
• Ability to interpret payer 835 data and understand the insurance claim life cycle
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience interfacing with various departments within the revenue cycle
