Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

Managing an inventory of complex claims accounts, the remote Revenue Recovery Specialist will evaluate Workers Compensation and MVA claims, ensure timely submissions to payers, and resolve accounts with multiple payers while working in a team-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate referred accounts to confirm compliance with Workers Compensation guidelines and identify responsible payers
• Prepare and submit appeals with required documentation in a timely manner
• Manage aged and high dollar accounts to ensure efficient recovery

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of experience with MVA and Medicare claims or Workers' Compensation bills
• Proven experience in hospital revenue cycle or insurance claim processing
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
