Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing revenue integrity, the full-time remote Revenue Recovery Specialist will manage coding initiatives, improve charge capture, and reduce billing delays while collaborating with various operational teams to ensure accurate reimbursement for services rendered.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit unbilled accounts to ensure proper documentation, coding, and charging to minimize DNFB and DNFC days
• Identify charge variances and trends, partnering with department leaders to implement corrective actions
• Support Revenue Cycle leadership with reporting and analysis to proactively identify financial improvement opportunities

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable, hospital billing, or revenue cycle resolution
• Prior experience in denial analysis or underpayment identification
• Familiarity with payer contracts and fee schedules
• Experience working with various payer portals and systems
