Revenue Specialist, MVA Billing
Job Summary
Investigating and analyzing Motor Vehicle Accident accounts, the full-time remote Revenue Specialist, MVA Billing will identify and coordinate insurance benefits while resolving outstanding balances, acting as a liaison between clients, patient attorneys, and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online medical research and review medical records to manage the claim life cycle
- Communicate with payers to resolve payment issues, including submitting corrected claims and filing appeals for denied claims
- Analyze health insurance remittance and identify denial trends to assist in prevention efforts
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections, with EMR/Billing system experience
- 1+ years of experience with Health Insurance/Government Insurance claim resolution
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office applications
- Intermediate understanding of insurance claims processing related to motor vehicle claims
